Description

A Marilyn Monroe Set of Black and White Photographs by Bruno Bernard [Bernard of Hollywood], Circa 1947. The first an original print with a glossy finish, depicting the then Norma Jeane sitting on a chair with a typewriter in her lap, verso stamped "Please Credit Photo By / Bernard / 8811 Wonderland Ave., L.A. 46, Calif. / Phone CRestview 4-3090," further penciled annotations read in part "Norma Jean Dougherty / (Monroe);" the second is an identical shot but slightly more exposed in the darkroom, verso has same credit stamp along with an additional stamp reading in part "Globe Photos / 152 West 54th St., N.Y. 19" -- great, vintage 'of-the-era' prints of this most famous Bernard of Hollywood photograph showing the then-unknown starlet! (Please note the upper left corner of one has slight paper loss, has a diagonal crease on lower left corner, and has a mark on MM's left shin; both photographs have slight dents seen in raking light only.)
    10" x 8"
