A Marilyn Monroe-Related Black and White Photograph Depicting the Bedroom Where She Died, 1962. An original print with a glossy finish, depicting the cluttered room where the star sadly took her last breath, date stamped three times on the verso ("1962 Aug 6/ AM 5:16," "Aug 6/ 1962," "Feb 18/ 1992"), with a further stamp reading in part "Please Credit/ United Press International Photo" as well as "Marilyn Monroe" written in red ink above a strip of newsprint reading "Bed and Room in Which the Blond Star Was Found Dead;" a sobering glimpse into the beloved icon's end of days. (Please note there is a tear across the top where the margin was removed; surface streaking and handling wear are evident.)
