A Marilyn Monroe Group of Never-Before-Seen Color Slides, 1955. Four total, with their vintage cardboard frames reading 'Kodachrome / Transparency / Processed by Kodak,' the verso of all with a blue fountain pen ink annotation reading "Marilyn Monroe," each depicting an image of the 29 year-old star (as others surround her) wearing a white eyelet dress on the tarmac as she gets ready to head to Bement, Illinois on August 6, 1955 where she participated in that town's centennial celebration; though that day was well documented by many photographers, these four images in particular have not been seen as they were shot by the current owner's uncle who was there; also included are a number of photocopied newspaper articles related to the event with funny headlines such as "Blonde Bombshell Bursts Over Bement" and "Marilyn Disrupts Bement's Centennial, But Who Cares?" (Please note the slides are somewhat dusty due to age.)
    Each Slide: 2" x 2"

The movie quite literally changed my life. I have included a pic of me in Sly's Rocky 3 Cashmere overcoat, would much appreciate if it is possible for you to forward this email to Sly to let him know the overcoat is in good hands, and will be well taken care of, (as will be the Rambo knife forging tools, the other lot I won!) Wish you very happy holidays and a great 2016!
