A Mae West Collection of Black and White Pet Photographs, 1930s - 1960s. Approximately 20, all original prints, with either a matte or glossy finish, depicting images of various animals the star either owned or had some association with including her monkey "Boogie," a tiny bug-eyed Chihuahua, a Dachshund (wearing a rhinestone necklace!), and "Rin Tin Tin" (whose trainer inscribed the photograph in 1937); many of these photographs are duplicates or similar (but not exact) images from the same photo sessions; also included are a number of miscellaneous West family photographs of the star's father, mother, and others -- all of them seeming to be 1950s-1960s-era reprints of the originals (which would have been from the turn-of-the-century); overall, a random assortment that West deemed important enough to save; included with a signed 'Letter of Provenance' from John West, Mae's nephew.
    Mostly: 14" x 11"
