    Description

    A Large Collection of Black and White Stills and Publicity Photographs from "Gone With The Wind." Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer, 1939. Approximately 50, all original prints with a glossy finish, depicting images from the film, from behind-the-scenes, and from events related to the premiere, there are also a number of staged publicity shots (like Vivien Leigh and Olivia De Havilland reading a copy of the book together), many have typed snipes affixed to the verso or other handwritten annotations, many have touch-up and crop marks on the front as they were used for newspaper or magazine publication, many are quite rare, others are very well-known, many cast members are represented in these shots with the exception of Clark Gable -- overall, a unique and unusual grouping. (Please note some photographs have wrinkles or slight staining on them due to age, others are somewhat cropped.)
