A George Reeves Group of Rare Black and White Publicity Photographs, Circa 1959. Twenty five total (though ten are duplicate images), all original prints with a glossy finish, all showing the star likely at his home (both indoors and outside) and all probably shot the same day though he has a few different wardrobe changes, two depict him with a woman (possibly Lenore Lemmon, his fiancée at the time of his death); also included is a letter from Helen Bessolo [Reeves' mother] to Bill Seay [the former 1930s child actor Billy Seay], handwritten on personalized stationery, dated "Aug 19th, 55" though the year was evidently meant to be 1959 as it reads in part "Thank you for sending the / enclosed pictures of my beloved son. I am / still so overcome with grief... / my attorney (is) Mr. Jerry Giesler... / I so wish I had had you take / a colored picture of the florals and / chapel but I did not know you and your / fine mother at this tragic time" (Seay seemingly having turned to photography after his childhood acting career ended); included with its original transmittal envelope with a 1959 postmark.
    Photographs: 10" x 8"; Letter: 10 1/2" x 7"
