Description

A Frank Sinatra Group of Early Black and White Headshots and Stills, 1940s. Approximately 50, all original prints with a glossy finish, most depict the star in classic headshots though a few are stills from his films including the 1943 RKO release "Higher and Higher," the 1945 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer release "Anchor's Aweigh," and the 1947 MGM release "It Happened in Brooklyn;" a few others depict the singer in posed or candid publicity shots, a couple have typed press snipes glued to the verso; all from the personal collection of Joel Pacilio, the young girl who was president of the Frank-ly Impressed Fan Club based in upstate New York throughout the 1940s and who became friendly with the singer before he became a massive star; consigned directly by Pacilio's son.
