    Original John Coppinger Approval Artwork for "Jabba the Hutt's" Eyes from Star Wars: Episode VI - Return of the Jedi (TCF, 1983). Vintage original concept artwork accomplished in artist's pencil on 2-artist's leaves measuring approx. 8.5" x 11" (1) leaf depicts Jabba's eye socket and is cut out to accommodate (1) leaf, which features an intricately colored iris and pupil, placed behind the first cutout leaf to create a complete example of the creature's eye in socket. This method
    allowed the artist to showcase a variety of eye styles and colors to production for ultimate approval by the art department and director. Both leaves are signed by the artist. Exhibiting only minor age and handling. In vintage Fine condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
