X2: X-Men United Storyboards Original Art Group of 10 Signed by Trevor Goring (Marvel Studios, c. 2003). Here is an incredible group of original storyboards for an unused chase scene in X2: X-Men United. Drawn by the prolific Trevor Goring, these fast-paced, high-octane images feature Wolverine in dynamic camera angles and action-packed shots. Additionally, Kitty Pride can be seen in one image phasing between two cars. This exciting collection of storyboards gives the feeling of watching a deleted scene on a DVD's bonus features, and it is a fantastic look at what might have been. Goring has provided cinematographic guidance with his artwork for countless film projects, including Thor: The Dark World, Watchmen, The Cell, National Treasure, and many more. He is the author of the newly released Storyboards: The Unseen Art of Hollywood, where he takes a scholarly look at significant storyboards of the past and the importance of storyboarding in filmmaking. These ten drawings rendered in black pencil on seven sheets of 11" x 14" vellum tracing paper are excellent examples of his prowess. Two drawings measure 13.5" x 4.5" and eight drawings are 9.25" x 13.5". The sheets show minor handling and edge wear, and one sheet is folded in half (not through any artwork). The drawings are signed by Trevor Goring, and the signatures are dated 2020. The condition overall is Very Good. COA from Heritage Auctions.
