The Thomas Crown Affair Storyboard Original Art Sequence of 96 with Photocopies and Production Photograph (The Mirisch Corporation, c. 1968). From the 1968 Norman Jewison-directed neo noir heist film The Thomas Crown Affair, here is an enormous set of over 96 original hand-drawn storyboards. Expertly crafted by legendary storyboard illustrator Nikita Knatz, this massive collection features sprawling cityscapes, sharply crafted narrative, and tense action sequences. The Thomas Crown Affair starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway in an early role, telling the story of a criminal and the insurance investigator hunting him down, and the burgeoning romance between them. An exciting and gorgeously rendered sequence from the film, it comes with a production photo of artist Nikita Knatz at a key shooting location and photocopies of other hand-drawn scenes from the film. The drawings are mounted on each side of 18 8.5" x 11" sheets of black paper. In addition, there are 13 sheets of storyboard photocopies and a production photo. All pieces show varying degrees of handling and edge wear with punch holes, tearing, fading and wrinkling in places. Rendered in ink, graphite and mixed media, the overall condition of the whole set is Good.
