The Ten Commandments (Paramount, 1956), Fortunino Matania Character Concept Artwork. Vintage artwork created by Fortunino Matania rendered in oil on canvas presented in wood (with white fabric) frame measuring 31.75" x 25.75". Representing a younger Moses with his wife Miriam, this piece was one of many concept artworks created for the film. The Italian artist, widely known for his historical paintings, contributed multiple detailed paintings of Rome and Egypt to ensure authenticity during production. Exhibits age and fabric wear.
