The Ten Commandments (Paramount, 1956), Edith Head Designed Anne Baxter "Nefretiri" Costume Sketch. Vintage costume sketch designed by Edith Head rendered in gouache and graphite on art board measuring 15" x 20". Dynamic concept sketch featuring glamorous full color front view of costume with smaller graphite rendering of back side. Art board showcases fabric swatch next to receipt description denoting it was made from "24 karat gold". Artist annotations list the costume accessories and scene-specific appearances of the wardrobe. Designer Edith Head has initialed her approval as well as DeMille (who has initialed both the front and back). Verso includes production information and estimated cost of the costume. Exhibits production wear and exhibition wear including toning, staining, edge wear, and tape on back. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
