    Description

The Cell Storyboards Original Art Group of 29 Signed by Trevor Goring (New Line Cinema, c. 2000). "Thank you for the horse." "You liked it?" "Oh, it's beautiful. But I thought we were going sailing today." Child psychologist Catherine Deane (played by Jennifer Lopez) attempts to coax a comatose boy into consciousness from inside his mind. From the opening sequence of the surreal sci-fi psychological horror film The Cell, these original storyboards showcase the abundance of imagination and striking visuals for which the film is recognized. Artist Trevor Goring demonstrates incredible visual storytelling prowess in this wordless and thought-provoking sequence, establishing a slow, methodical pace and an unsettling mood. The author of Storyboards: The Unseen Art of Hollywood, Goring has an extensive resume for film, video games and comics, and he has created storyboard artwork for countless films like Thor: The Dark World, Independence Day, Mission: Impossible 2, Lone Survivor and many more. These 29 gorgeous drawings by his hand are rendered in black pencil on tracing paper taped to cartridge paper. There are three drawings per sheet, with the exception of the last page, and the 10 sheets are spiral bound. The drawings measure 7" x 3" on 11" x 14" sheets. The pages are signed by the artist, and they show minor handling wear and occasional smudging. The condition is Very Good. COA from Heritage Auctions.
