Description
The Addams Family Matte Painting of "Gondola In Grotto" (Paramount, 1991) Matte painting accomplished in mixed media on 60.5" x 38.75". Masonite. Painted by Illusion Arts.This full painting established a view of Uncle Fester Addams (Christopher Lloyd) moving from right-to-left in a gondola floating inside a massive underground grotto. This shot incorporated one of Illusion Arts' earliest uses of 3D modelling to create water reflections onto the ceiling and stone pillars of the painting. Burning torch effects were also additional elements.
In Very Good Plus condition exhibiting expected production wear, minor scuffing, possible corner bumping and soiling. This lot requires third party shipping from Los Angeles, CA. COA from Heritage Auctions.
