Terry Southern, Group of (3) "F*ck Communism!" (Paul Krassner and John Francis Putnam, 1963) Posters. Vintage original set of (3) "Fuck Communism!" posters, each measuring approx. 22.5" x 8.5", along with the original transmittal envelope labeled in Terry Southern's hand. Created in 1963 by Paul Krassner and Mad magazine art director John Francis Putnam, this satirical poster-distributed through The Realist, where Southern was a frequent contributor-used the provocative phrase to mock Cold War hysteria and censorship. A rare piece of countercultural satire, personally linked to Southern through his handwritten label, the poster drew strong reactions and was even condemned by groups like the Daughters of the American Revolution, ironically reinforcing its message.
