Tango and Cash Storyboard Group of 8 (Warner Brothers, c. 1989). Presented are eight storyboards mounted to four sheets of 11" x 8" bond paper from the 1989 buddy cop action comedy Tango and Cash, starring Kurt Russell and Sylvester Stallone. Created by the great storyboard artist Nikita Knatz, these images depict the prison laundry chute scene. Nikita Knatz was one of the most in-demand production artists in modern cinema, working on over 100 films over the course of his career from Academy Award-winning motion pictures to box-office hits and large-scale productions such as The Thomas Crown Affair, Predator, The Hard Way, Batman Returns, Spider-Man, and many more. These impressive images are copied, cut and pasted onto the sheets, and each sheet contains original production and camera notes. They show light handling and edge wear with a small fold in one corner. The sheets are preserved in sleeves, and the condition overall is Very Good.
