Star Trek: The Next Generation (Paramount, 1987-1994), Rick Sternbach Group of Concept Sketches. Original group of (4) concept sketches by Rick Sternbach for the Phaser energy weapon, ranging in size from 11.5" x 8.5" to 11" x 17", with each accomplished on illustration art sheets. Includes (1) sketch of the Phaser Type 1, executed in black ink without coloring, depicting top and side views, with handwritten date "1/16/87" and signed by the artist. The remaining (3) sketches, labeled "3rd Season Phaser Concepts", are rendered in colored felt-tip and pencil with ink outlines, each also signed by Sternbach. Exhibits mild signs of handling, wear, and age. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
