    Star Trek Special #2 Original Cover Painting by Dan Curry (DC Comics, 1994). Matted on illustration board, this fantastic acrylic painting depicts the original series feature Enterprise A using a tractor beam to save the original TV series Enterprise from being pulled into a dimensional anomaly as shown in the special's first of two stories - and sequel to "The Tholian Web," episode nine from the third season of the original series, "Raise the Defiant." Beautifully rendered by noted visual effects supervisor and producer for several Star Trek television series', including The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, and Enterprise, Dan Curry. Signed "Dan Curry / 1994" in light blue at the bottom-right corner. Includes a crisp copy of DC Comics' Star Trek Special # 2, signed at the bottom-right of the front cover in silver by Curry. Entire piece including matte measures 15" x 20", image area 9" x 14". Excellent condition. COA from Heritage Auctions.
