Saul Bass Original Closing Credits Art for Around the World in 80 Days. One of the most accomplished graphic designers of the 20th century, Saul Bass became notorious in the film industry after creating the title sequence for Otto Preminger's controversial drama The Man with the Golden Arm in 1955. His work became a hot commodity soon after, and Bass designed innovative, memorable credit sequences for Alfred Hitchcock (Psycho, North by Northwest), Martin Scorsese (Goodfellas, Age of Innocence), Stanley Kubrick (Spartacus), and many others. This approximately 11" x 4" piece of design art by Bass is Ronald Colman's onscreen credit from the closing credits sequence for Around the World in 80 Days. The piece is in Excellent condition, matted to an overall size of 20" x 15" with a little wear and some handwritten notes in pencil on the mat.
