A landmark collaboration between Mike Mignola and Richard Corben, celebrated for his acclaimed work in Heavy Metal magazine, Makoma was the first Hellboy story to feature art by someone other than Mignola. Makoma is depicted here with Hellboy as he smashes through an endless horde of Sand Devils, embodying the relentless fury of a legendary hundred-day battle in a vivid reimagining of African folklore. Rendered in Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9" x 13.5"; plexiglass-front framed to 16.5" x 21.5". Signed by Mignola and Corben.
