Predator Storyboard Original Art Sequence of 16 (20th Century Fox, c. 1987). From the 1987 sci fi/action/horror classic Predator, here are 16 sheets of incredible hand-drawn original storyboards by legendary production artist Nikita Knatz (1940-2010). Rendered in graphite and mixed media on 11" x 8.5" sheets of vellum and bond paper, these spectacular drawings depict an alternate scene of an airdrop over the Central American jungle near the beginning of the film. To view these vivid storyboards feels like watching a deleted scene special feature on the Predator DVD! Mr. Knatz was a highly sought-after production artist, having worked on over 100 films over the course of his long career. Along with Predator, other notable titles he worked on include Spider-Man, Batman Returns, Weird Science and The Thomas Crown Affair among many others. These beautiful drawings include camera and production notes, and there are one or two drawings per sheet. They show varying degrees handling, edge wear and toning due to age, as well as folding edges and tape. The condition overall is Very Good.
