Description
Oversize Unit Storyboard of Stairwell Collapse Blue Screen from The Towering Inferno (Irwin Allen Productions, 1974). Vintage original oversize production blueline unit storyboard featuring the blue screen position and stunt pad area for the 87th-floor stairwell collapse from this classic Irwin Allen cliffhanger. The unit storyboard highlights camera angles, color-coded to match the detail inserts with hand-drawn elements in colored ink marker and handwritten notations in red ink. A trimmed portion of the script detailing the scene is affixed along the lower edge. Measures 28.5" x 20.5" and affixed to 4-ply artist illustration board measuring 40" x 30". Actual artwork reproduced on pp. 438-450 of "The Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen" by Jeff Bond, Creature Features 2019. Very Good, with border smudges, surface scuffs, slight edge toning, and edge and corner wear on the mount board. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.Auction Info
