Nolan Miller Watercolor Sketch of Ann Miller Costume for Love Boat. Ca. 1982; Watercolor, gouache, pencil and marker on paper mounted to illustration board.

Three-part illustration in pencil, watercolor and gouache of Ann Miller in a dance costume for Love Boat. The illustrations show a progression from a pink, beaded leotard with a corsage to leotard and skirt to a light suggestion of an overlaying pink cape. He also makes a suggestion of the accessories with drop earrings, wide bracelet and large jeweled ring. The piece is finished with a pink marker border, signed at the lower right "Nolan Miller" and labeled in pencil in the lower left corner "Ann Miller." The illustration is in Fine condition. The sketch was adhered to the illustration board, and wrinkled in the process primarily along the left side. The board has bumped corners, but otherwise the clean illustrations are delightful, showing a bubbly Ann Miller. From the Nolan Miller Collection.
