    Milo Anderson Costume Sketches. A pair of 15" x 20" costume sketches of evening gowns for an unspecified production, colored ink and gouache on illustration board, by designed Milo Anderson (1910-84). Anderson was a costume designer for 24 years, most of them at Warner Bros., where he created gowns for the likes of Olivia de Havilland (Captain Blood), Anita Louise (Anthony Adverse), Jane Wyman (Woman in Black), and Jean Muir (Stars Over Broadway). The sketches are in Fine to Very Fine condition, with numerous tack holes and mild wear to both, and are accompanied by 16 b&w 8" x 10" stills of Anderson at work behind the scenes, his designs, and more.
