Maurice Binder Original Storyboard Title Sequence Artwork for For Your Eyes Only (Eon Productions, 1981). Starting with Dr. No, title designer Maurice Binder set the tone for the opening sequences of James Bond films to follow with his signature "Bond-through-the-gun-barrel" and use of undulating female silhouettes and imagery. This lot consists of (7) illustration boards (measuring approximately 21.5" x 14.75"), all but one features (4) panels measuring approximately 8" x 3.75" (the remaining features 6 panels) comprised of paste-up photographic art with color gel overlay depicting images of James Bond viewed through a gun barrel and various female imagery and stenciled letters. One board features Scottish singer Sheena Easton, the only Bond theme singer to be featured in the opening credits, and has handwritten direction notes in pencil below the images. Boards exhibit age and handling from production with tape residue, staining and glue remnants with some delamination. From the family of Maurice Binder.
