DescriptionFrank Sinatra original acrylic on canvas signed and dated with a personal note from Frank Sinatra to Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme. (1959) Original modern art painting accomplished in acrylics on 36 x 48 in. stretched artists canvas. Hand painted by iconic golden age actor and singer Frank Sinatra. Signed in the bottom left of artwork, "Sinatra 89". Also handwritten on the back of canvas, "Frank Sinatra, Ranco [sic] Mirage, Cal. USA". The painting is accompanied by a personal typed note, reading in full: "August 23, 1990, Dear Steve & Eydie, We hope you enjoy this and think of us whenever you look at this as we think of you so often! By the way...we found the perfect place for it at the beach....right over the desk! Much love," and signed, "Barbara & Frank". The cloth mat on the original frame has become frayed on the edges. Gifted by Frank Sinatra to his friends, the legendary entertainment
couple and singing duo Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme.
