    Ernie Kovacs' Steve Canyon Comic Strip Art From Milton Caniff. The original art for a four-panel Steve Canyon newspaper strip by Milton Caniff, featuring a character with a pet tarantula named Ernie. Caniff inscribed the work across the top: "Ernie -- Our little friend must have been looking for a match when this was shot -- Best --", dated it August 1956, and signed it in brown ink. The 23" x 8" pencil and ink art has been matted and framed to 28" x 12.5" and is in Very Fine condition. From the Ernie Kovacs/Edie Adams Estate Archive.
