A 16" x 20" oil on canvas clown painting by Leon Franks, from a series of Ringling Bros.-themed paintings by him, inscribed "To Ellie - Best Wishes" and signed by Franks. Accompanied by a copy of the painting instructional book Clowns and Characters that features the painting on the cover and interior, inscribed "To Ellie - my best forever" and signed by Franks as well. In Excellent condition, framed to an overall size of 22.75" x 27". From the Glenn Ford Estate. Accompanied by a letter of provenance from Peter Ford.Auction Info
