Cinefantastique Magazine (Volume 12, Number 5/6), Roger Stine Original Cover Artwork from Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. Original cover artwork by Roger Stine for the July and August 1982 double-issue of Cinefantastique Magazine depicting Captain Kirk (William Shatner), Spock (Leonard Nimoy), and the menacing Khan (Ricardo Montalban) in the background with 2-spacecraft in battle in the foreground. Accomplished in dark red, purple, blue, and black mixed media on 10" x 12.5" masonite board. Signed on recto by the artist. Roger Stine completed several similar artworks for covers of Cinefantastique Magazine, and this lot is accompanied by a copy of the double issue for which this artwork served as the cover. Exhibiting mild edgewear to the Masonite board with 2-minor chipping spots to the very outermost edge of the image area. Verso contains 2-signatures in felt-tip from Leonard Nimoy and William Shatner. Full LOA from Beckett Authentication Services and PSA/DNA.
