Audrey Hepburn "Holly Golightly" Costume Sketch by Edith Head for Breakfast at Tiffany's (Paramount, 1961). Vintage original costume sketch accomplished in gouache and ink on 14" x 16.75" artist's paper leaf by legendary costume designer Edith Head. Designed by Hubert de Givenchy, final version by Edith Head. Representing the iconic outfit worn by Audrey in her "Best Actress" Oscar-nominated performance. Piece by piece, we watch "Holly" (Hepburn) create the ensemble in her memorable first meeting with "Paul Varjak" (George Peppard). Handwritten in pencil by Head "Audrey Hepburn - color combinations of blue and grey." Signed at bottom right, "Edith Head." Exhibiting age, handling, bumped corners, pinholes and minor edgewear.
