DescriptionAn Ernest Borgnine Group of Good Fan Art, 1970s-2000s. Four pieces total, all images of the actor, all gifted to him by fans who were also talented artists including: 1) an airbrush on paper depicting the actor as a clown, signed on the left side "John Bailey;" 2) a color pencil on paper, depicting the actor from the 1972 National General Pictures film, "The Revengers" ["Los Vengadores"] inscribed by the artist on the upper right side (though faded and illegible now) and dated "November 7, 1971;" 3) a needlepoint depicting the actor as a clown above text reading "Ernie," back signed "Emily K. Liban / 1991;" and 4) either a print or an actual color pencil on paper drawing (not examined out of frame), depicting a caricature of the actor, signed on the right side "G. Merighi."
All framed: 26" x 22" and smaller
Included with a Letter of Provenance signed by Nancee Borgnine and Cris Borgnine, Ernest's children.
