    Description

    An Ernest Borgnine Group of Good Fan Art, 1950s-1990s. Five pieces total, all images of the actor, all gifted to him by fans who were also talented artists including: 1) a charcoal on paper, signed in the lower right corner "e.j. Bumbera / 2/56; 2) a color felt-tip ink on paper, depicting the actor from the 1979 CBS Television movie, "All Quiet on the Western Front," signed on the left side "pacheco" and in the upper right corner "Kat;" 3) a black ballpoint ink on paper, text on the lower right side reads "Borgnine / as / Fat Cat / Dick Adams / Cartagena / 3-25-69" ["Fat Cat" being his character from the 1970 Paramount film, "The Adventurers"] (water staining evident); 4) a pen, ink, and pastel on construction paper, depicting a caricature of the actor, signed in the lower right corner "Carl M. Ruppert / July 12th, 1991;" and 5) a black felt-tip ink on paper, depicting a caricature of the actor as "Sergeant 'Fatso' Judson" from the 1953 Columbia film, "From Here to Eternity," signed in the lower right corner "Emslie."
