A Statuette of The Demon 'Pazuzu' Related to "The Exorcist." Made of plaster and composite, depicting the demon called 'Pazuzu' that Max von Sydow [as "Father Merrin"] first sees in Iraq and then later encounters in a Washington, D.C. bedroom while Linda Blair [as "Regan"] is being possessed by it in the classic 1973 Warner Bros. film; back of base has text reading "Elkin Statue / Works '74;" likely commissioned by or for Warner Bros. where the piece was reportedly procured (evidently after the film was released), possibly made as a gift to an executive or someone who worked on the film. (Please note this piece weighs about ten pounds and is somewhat fragile so will require third party shipping; additionally, this version of 'Pazuzu' is somewhat different from the final one that appears in the film.)
    23" x 16" x 10"

The current owner has had this piece since December 1974 when he received it as a gift from a friend who had contacts at movie studios in Hollywood -- unfortunately, no other information is known about it.
