Kurtz 1939" -- 'Eric Stacey' being the assistant director [billed as Eric G. Stacey] on "GWTW" -- Kurtz being the noted artist and historian who served as an important technical advisor on the film and who helped create the entire look of the film through many of his early set paintings like this one.
