    Description

A Mae West Stunning Pastel Portrait, 1930s. Rendered on paper, depicting the artist's rendition of a very well-known publicity headshot of the actress, set against a mint green background, signed in the lower right "Ross O'Neill;" evidently liked enough by West to frame and to save for her entire life; included with a signed 'Letter of Provenance' from John West, Mae's nephew. (Please note there is a 3/4" tear on the upper left side of portrait, there is slight surface dirt, and the original glass is cracked -- a professional re-framing would eliminate most of these issues.)
    Matted and framed: 24" x 20"; Work only: 17" x 15"
