DescriptionA Mae West Enormous Group of Pencil Drawings by Craig Eadie, 1960s. Approximately 90, mostly all pencil on paper (though a few are pastel and ink on paper), all depicting a great likeness of West wearing fabulous get-ups or just close-ups of her face, many signed and dated by the artist who created them between 1964 and 1967; their purpose unknown, perhaps Eadie was West's #1 fan and just drew them to please her -- in any case, she saved them; included with a signed 'Letter of Provenance' from John West, Mae's nephew.
Mostly: 11" x 8 1/2"
