Rendered in colored pencil and ink pen on paper, depicting two images of Stallone as "Rocky Balboa," inscription in black felt-tip ink on the lower right margin reads "Rocky filling his own shoes / in Rocky II / Oct. 31, '78 / L.A.;" further signed by the artist in pencil in the lower left corner "leRoy Neiman;" Stallone and Neiman's friendship goes back to the first "Rocky" days and many of the artist's works hang in Stallone's home today.
    Matted and Framed: 19" x 16"; Work Only: 15" x 12"

I said "Look, LeRoy, if I put you in the movie and you play a referee, would you do some art for the film, maybe even a poster?" And he says, "Absolutely!" As he's sitting around between shots, he would draw. And this one here (reads) "October 31, 1978 Rocky filling his own shoes." And he just captured the moment better than anybody. That's why he was so gifted. It's been in my home since 1978."
