Description

A Katharine Hepburn Signed Watercolor, Circa 1940s. Rendered on tan-colored construction paper, depicting an image of a pretty blonde with a red flower in her 1940s hairdo, possibly a self-portrait though could also be Emily Perkins, a bit actress, Hollywood seamstress, and longtime companion to Hepburn who received this painting as a gift from the actress, signed in brown felt-tip ink in the lower right corner "Katharine Hepburn," in its original 1940s-era mat board; consigned directly by Perkins' grandniece. (Please note this piece is somewhat wrinkled due to age and its mat board is dirtied, but with re-framing, it could look new again.)
    Matted: 24" x 18"; Work Only: 15" x 11"
