A Group of Original Pre-Production Set Drawings from "Eight Bells." Columbia, 1935. Four total, all rendered in gouache on illustration or cardboard; the first depicting a ship's cabin; the second another cabin interior with two men; the third a ship's deck with two men in yellow slickers; and the fourth a ship in the harbor; all unsigned but created by Joseph Hayse Goodwin, a Hollywood sketch artist who worked on this adventure film starring Ann Sothern and Ralph Bellamy; from The Estate of Joseph Hayse Goodwin as consigned by his family; three are mounted to vintage backings.
