    Description

New York Traffic by Meinsdorff Used in Here's Lucy. A 19.5" x 15.5" oil painting on canvasboard, signed at the lower right. The painting was featured in a studio still for Here's Lucy (photo included), and was most likely used as a set prop in the show. Lucy may have pulled the piece from her own collection for the production (or perhaps she obtained it from the set as a post-production souvenir?), a fantastic piece, either way! The work is in very good original condition in its original frame which measures 27.5" x 23.5". This lot will be accompanied by a letter of provenance from Susie Morton as the widow of Gary Morton, Ms. Ball's second husband. The lot is not offered by the estate of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. This lot requires 3rd party shipping.
