Renowned marine life artist Wyland changed the way people think about our environment when he started painting life-size whales on the sides of buildings in the 1980s. Wyland always thought big. And he never stopped.
In Meeting of the Minds, Wyland engineered a large dining room piece featuring a bronze sculpture of two dolphins and a living reef to support the dolphin swimming beneath heavy, beveled glass. The dining suite is finished with six silvered metal chairs, each with a green cushion. "I believe Meeting of the Minds showcases the best of sculpture and furniture designs with world class art. I also designed a series of dolphin fin-back chairs to complement the dining table and complete this unique ocean experience. Approximate Retail Value $34,000.

Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund
The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes & its complications through the support of research. Type 1 diabetes is an autoimmune disease that strikes children and adults suddenly, and can be fatal. Until a cure is found, people with type 1 diabetes have to test their blood sugar and give themselves insulin injections multiple times or use a pump - each day, every day of their lives.
