Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Group Lot Of Food Boxes & Masks (Tesco/Purina, 1990). This Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles group lot includes food boxes and masks released by Tesco and Purina in 1990 at the height of Turtle-Mania! Available are three boxes of Tesco Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles pizza, available in three flavors: Tomato & Sausage, Tomato & Cheese, and Pepperoni. Each box features one of the turtle brothers alongside the pizza. Also available are three boxes of Tesco Neapolitan Choc Ices bars, each prominently displaying the turtle brothers. Additionally, this collection includes five boxes of Purina cereal, featuring a giveaway for complete sets of Ninja Turtle toys. Also part of this set are three sealed masks of Leonardo that were included in some cereal boxes as premiums. The boxes all come in used condition and have been folded for storing.From the collection of Mark Freedman.
Mark Freedman, the president of Surge Licensing, originally pitched the idea of licensing the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird for a toy line which resulted in the deal with Playmates Toys.
