Robot Chicken (Cartoon Network, 2001-), Emperor Palpatine Stop Motion Puppet. Original custom fabricated Emperor Palpatine stop motion puppet, voiced by Seth MacFarlane. Constructed of expertly painted plastic and foam body over wire metal armature with wired and stiffened cloth robe. Includes the resin fiddle, bow and foam "straw" hat used in the skit Orders 1-65, in which the Emperor starts to list the predecessors to "Order 66" to the tune of "Turkey in the Straw". Detailed painting includes reddened sunken eyes, mottled skin and a drawn on "garter" above the cloth sock on his exposed leg. Also includes two small containers labeled "Emp Blinks" and "Emp. Brow", containing mostly dried clay. Palpatine stands 7.5" tall. Exhibiting production handling and wear and retaining holes in the feet for affixing to the set. The top portion of the fiddle bow has broken off and is no longer present. From the collection of artist Rob Ronning who was Head of Puppet Fabrication (2006-2010-including all Star Wars Specials) with the show though 2022. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
