    Robert Mitchum Group of Sterling Silver and Other Items (1950s-1990s). Eleven items total, all owned and used by the actor for many years, including: 1) a sterling silver "very 1950s" ashtray, engraved on the front in Spanish "Para/ Bob Mitchum y Sra. / Un recuerdo cariñoso / de Alex y Alicia / Phillips / Mex 12-24-58" ["For / Bob Mitchum and (his) wife / A loving memory / from Alex and Alicia / Phillips / Mex(ico) 12-24-58"], back stamped "Plateria / 1 Vigueras / 925 / Hecho en Mexico;" 2) a silvertone metal Jefferson cup, front engraved "The Virginia Festival of American Film / Film Noir: Through a Lens Darkly / Charlottesville, Va. / Oct. 28-31, 1993," back engraved with the fest's logo, bottom engraved "Jefferson Cup / Bowen's / Lynchburg, VA / Handcrafted / in / Virginia;" 3) an identical Jefferson cup; 4) a silvertone metal ashtray in the form of an ear; 5) a silvertone metal whistle on a chain; 6) a small circular standee featuring an image by Al Hirschfeld of Mitchum from his 1971 Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer film, "Going Home," housed in its own wooden case; 7) a sterling silver luggage tag engraved with the actor's name and his Santa Barbara address, stamped on the back "Doskow Sterling," on a tan leather strap; 8) a silvertone metal keychain in the form of an 'R,' stamped on the bottom "Loewe / 1846," with two keys; 9) a pair of silvertone circular cuff links featuring a coat of arms; 10) a pair of silver square-shaped cuff links, back stamped "Silver / S.Ch.C. / Made in Mexico;" and 11) a pair of sterling silver rectangular-shaped cuff links, engraved on front sides "RCM" [Robert Charles Mitchum], back stamped "Sterling / Rotter;" consigned directly by Mitchum's children and included with a 'Letter of Provenance' signed by them. (Please note most items are somewhat scratched due to consistent use.)
