Phantasm VHS 1984 - IGS Box 9 Mint and Seal 9 Mint, Embassy Home Entertainment Slipcase, Horizontal Overlap Seal, Bottom White Nelson Entertainment Watermarks. Phantasm is a horror cult classic that follows the story of two brothers, Mike and Jody, who uncover a sinister mortician's plot to take over the world. As they mourn the death of their parents, they stumble upon the mortician's otherworldly mausoleum where the dead are transformed into deadly dwarf-like creatures. The brothers must confront the enigmatic and menacing undertaker, known as the Tall Man, as they try to escape the nightmarish dimension and put an end to his malevolent schemes. This surreal and atmospheric film explores themes of grief, fear, and the uncanny while delivering a haunting and mind-bending experience.This factory sealed VHS copy of Phantasm comes in the 1984 dated Embassy slipcase with late production Nelson Entertainment watermarks on the bottom as Embassy transitioned to Nelson. There were two other releases of phantasm prior to this release, the original Magnetic Video release and a 20th Century Fox drawer box release. It is currently unknown if factory sealed examples of either previous release still exist. That makes this Embassy copy a solid option for fans of the film. It's received a Box grade of 9 Mint and a Seal grade of 9 Mint by IGS.
