Personal book-bound script for The Stalking Moon (National General Corp., 1968). Vintage original 140-page script dated December 15, 1967, with blue and pink revision pages dated to January 30, 1968. Screenplay by Alvin Sargent, and adapted from the T.V. Olsen novel by Wendell Mayes. The present script was custom-bound for Mr. Peck's personal library in dark green leatherette with title and Mr. Peck's name stamped in gilt on the front board. Spine stamped in gilt with five raised bands. With 15 gelatin silver semi-gloss double-weight 7.625" x 9.875" production stills from the film tipped to pages bound-in. A few light scuffs to the boards. A few pages with ink dialogue corrections, not in Mr. Peck's hand. Title page and first photograph show some insect damage along the right fore-edge border. Fine.

Please note that while not a studio presentation script, the present script was custom bound for Mr. Peck's personal library and features his name stamped in gilt on the front board.
