National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation VHS 1990 - CGC Home Video 9.4 and Seal A+, Slipcase, Horizontal Overlap Seal, Front White Warner Home Video Watermarks, The Motor City Collection, Warner Home Video. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation is a comedic holiday rollercoaster that follows the hilarious misadventures of the Griswold family as they attempt to create the perfect Christmas. Clark Griswold's determination to create the ultimate yuletide experience leads to a series of uproarious mishaps, from over-the-top decorations to an ill-fated attempt at a Christmas tree lighting. As chaos ensues and expectations unravel, the Griswold house becomes a comedic spectacle of holiday cheer gone awry. This uproarious holiday classic has solidified its place as an iconic film, capturing the chaotic yet heartwarming essence of the holiday season and reminding audiences that sometimes the best celebrations are the ones that don't go according to plan. This factory sealed VHS copy of National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation in a 1990-dated first release slipcase with front white Warner watermarks and comes to us as part of The Motor City Collection, CGC Home Video's first pedigree. The Motor City Collection is particularly remarkable due to the fact that original purchaser would typically write the date that the item was purchased on the price tag, sometimes along with the store name or the street that the store was located on. Based on the handwritten notes on the price tag, this tape was originally purchased on 11-23-90 at a Target in Michigan. It has received a solid grade of 9.4 by CGC, with a Seal grade of A+.
The Motor City Collection is CGC Home Video's first VHS pedigree. The gentleman who originally assembled this unbelievable collection had purchased items as far back as the 1970s and began with vinyl records. He would typically go out of his way to write the date of purchase on the price tags, as well as other identifiable info like a city, street, or store name. His collection was unknown to even his family until his passing. The majority of the items he'd purchased remained unopened in their original factory shrink wrap. The Motor City Collection
