Marilyn Monroe Personal Eye Shadow by Revlon. Vintage original eye shadow tube by Revlon from Marilyn Monroe's personal makeup collection. Constructed of a speckled gold-toned bullet-shaped tube containing violet eyeshadow, marked Revlon and labeled "Violet J81". Monroe was known for her extensive makeup collection, which she collected and used frequently throughout her life. This eyeshadow was originally sold at auction in 2005 in a group lot containing several makeup accessories. Exhibits signs of age and wear. Provenance: Julien's, Los Angeles, "Property from the Estate of Marilyn Monroe", June 4, 2005, Partial Lot #275. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
