Marilyn Monroe Personal Erno Laszlo Makeup Toner. Vintage original makeup toner bottle by Erno Laszlo from Marilyn Monroe's personal makeup collection. Consisting of a heavy plastic makeup bottle containing light pink liquid, this toner was made specifically for Monroe based on skin analysis by Dr. Erno Laszlo, her dermatologist. Laszlo created a strict routine for Monroe, and this specifically developed toner was a staple of his regimen for her. Notably, a substantial amount of toner remains in the bottle, indicating this bottle was in use at the end of her life. Bottles like this one can be seen in a photograph of Monroe backstage and toasting her crew, including makeup artist Whitey Snyder, ca. 1960. Lid is marked "LASZLO" in script and bottle is marked "ERNO LASZLO". Bottom of bottle contains an original sticker label reading, "This scientific cosmetic preparation formulated by Dr. Erno Laszlo and used in the Erno Laszlo Institute of New York" and marked "2227-1". Item measures 5" x 2.25" x 2" and exhibits signs of use including stray makeup remnants to exterior, scuffs, and dents to the bottle.
