Marilyn Monroe Personal Black Stocking. Vintage original single black stocking from Marilyn Monroe's personal wardrobe collection. Made by Fairlane and crafted from nylon, the stocking is labeled "Fairlane Du-Bonets / 60 Gauge 15 Denier / Dupont Nylon / First Quality". Originally obtained at auction from the Estate of Lee and Paula Strasberg as part of a group lot containing Monroe's black stockings, which the actress was known to wear frequently throughout her life. Exhibits mild signs of age and wear. Provenance: Julien's, Los Angeles, "Property from the Estate of Marilyn Monroe", June 4-5, 2005, Partial Lot #91. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
